Although the school is forced to close for class activities, the background is bustling with plans and activity. Dirk Jacob, for example, has been very busy to ensure further professionalization and continuity with regard to the continued existence of the school. As of January 1st, 2021, the Dutch School of Violin Making has therefore been merged into the Dutch School of Violin Making Foundation, with a Board and a Supervisory Board. Dirk Jacob, as general director and senior lecturer, remains fully involved in everything that has to do with the school. And now we hope we can open again soon!
